We do not suggest pet urns be positioned exterior, Until you secure them from the elements in the Show scenario or vault.It is a rather urn, but, I used to be fairly disapointed in it since the picture on line showes that it is amethyst, even so the one which I obtained appears more black then amethyst even if you maintain it as much as the light.
